Today, March 22, 2024 is World Water Day, and this year's theme is "Water for Peace." It's super important to think about how water can bring peace to our community. Let me tell you about a spring in our community called "Galba" and how it relates to this theme.
So, in our community, we have this spring called "Galba." It's where the Roblot community and surroundings go in the dry season especially when WASCO rations water. This spring is a really cool place where people come to get fresh water. But sometimes, there are arguments about who gets to use the water and when. This can cause fights and make people feel upset.
But if we all work together to make sure everyone has access to the water from "Galba," we can bring peace to our community. We can take turns using the water and make sure it's clean and safe for everyone. This way, we can all be happy and have enough water for our families.
By taking care of "Galba" and making sure everyone has access to clean water, we can show how water can bring peace to our community. We can also learn about the importance of water for peace and how it can help us all get along better.
So, let's celebrate World Water Day by thinking about how we can make "Galba" a place of peace and harmony for everyone in our community. Let's work together to make sure everyone has access to clean and safe water. Cheers to water for peace!
